People have been Blackpool for hundreds of years, Blackpool was little more than a village by the sea calm. It's hard being surrounded by swamps and forests. It was not until 1781 that the first road was built in the city, allowing people to come for care. Still, the appeal was not easily accessible because the journey was cumbersome and slow, you can take a day trip from Manchester, and two days in Yorkshire. What really changed everything was the arrival of the railway in the Blackpool area. In 1840, the railroad was built with the original purpose of transporting passengers for Fleetwood a city north of Blackpool. Sir Peter Hesketh, the founder of Fleetwood proposal to build a port and resort on their land there. The development of Fleetwood never came to an fulness, however, and the railroad fell into financial difficulty. It was only rescued by passengers from the Lancashire mill towns, many of whom came Blackpool from Poulton station to travel by horse drawn forms of transport like cars. In 1846, a railway station was built in Blackpool itself that allows visitors to come directly to the station. Now it was fairly inexpensive and easy to get to Blackpool and people began arriving in increasing numbers and unexpected. They came not only Lancashire but throughout the north of England. In 1863, another station was built in the center of the town of Blackpool to help cope with the thousands of people who wanted to get to the station.

The large number of people coming to Blackpool provided the impetus for local entrepreneurs and the authorities improving local recreation facilities. In the next forty Blackpool was transformed. Three pillars have been opened, Blackpool Tower was built Garden Winter and the Opera House was built, Illuminations the beginning, the development of the Golden Mile was initiated, and ambitious plans were put on the practice of creating a large park of leisure – ultimately become Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the most popular holiday attraction in Britain.
